He was given funding to build the academy. He has built 4 schools, all with no more than 600 students in each, within one school. Working with students who were not able to move through to their local secondary, they have developed a philosophy of learning that is so successful, they are setting up other schools in the UK and globally.

    Observation Visit
Teachers and Principals from 6 schools visited Viscount Primary in Mangere and Gulf Harbour in Whangaparaoa to view Inquiry in Action.
This was a follow up to the Lane Clarke seminar, to view and observe how Inquiry was integrated into each school, how teachers used different processes, planners, frameworks in their classrooms, how processes and skills were modelled and to talk to students about their learning.
