Term 2, 2011
Lane Clarke - Here are a couple of short video clips of Leeanne and Ursula at the Intermediate, introducing Speeches to their classes using the Think!nQ process. Leeanne is at the first stage, asking students to brainstorm ideas of what a speech is, and signing their initials beside their contributions.
Leeann - Introduction
Ursula is the 2nd stage, students have brainstormed, then been online and viewed speeches, regrouped and looked at elements of a good speech. Each group then made up their own ThinkChart on the elements of a good speech, written and presentation.
They were then asked to return to YouTube, choose 2 speeches to critique using their ThinkChart.
